How to create a new calendar in Outlook

If you are looking to create a new calendar to help organize appointments/ meeting with the purpose of sharing with others or if you want to keep track of certain appointments/ meetings but wish these to be held separately from other calendars, please follow the below instructions.
*classic outlook and new outlook/ web app have separate instructions*
Outlook Classic
Open Outlook, then click on Calendar (on the left side)
- Click Add Calendar in Home tab > Click Create New Blank Calendar…
- You can then name the new calendar and (if required) move it within Outlook’s file structure (default set as the Calendar folder).
- Click OK and it will show up on the left-hand side of the calendar window:
New Outlook / Web App
- Open Outlook, then click on Calendar (on the left side)
- Click Add Calendar in Home tab (Left-hand side)
- Click Create New Blank Calendar…
- You can then name the new calendar and (if required) move it within Outlook’s file structure (default set as the My Calendars folder).
- Click Save and close this window, the new calendar will show up on the left-hand side of the calendar window:
