How to change a greeting message within teams.

A Call Queue Greeting message is a message that is played at the start of a phone call and before the phone receiving the call starts to ring.

If you have been made an authorised user to make changes to a call queue greeting message, you will be able to add, change or remove the greeting message for this call queue.

Adding or changing a greeting message.

Open teams, at the top-right of the screen click the Three dots and select Settings.

Select Calls and click on the appropriate Call Queue (shown below as JHG Reception CQ).

Select the dropdown menu and click “Add a greeting message”

Enter the greeting message into the text box (or make changes to an existing message). Once this has been entered, press Save.

Please note that any changes saved will be updated automatically.

Removing a greeting message.

To remove a greeting message, navigate to the appropriate Call Queue and Click on the drop-down menu, select “No greeting”.

Once selected, the greeting message text box will disappear.

*Please note that there is no button to save when removing a greeting and this will be applied automatically after selecting “No greeting”.*
