Last Updated 8 days ago
Introduction:
This knowledgebase article will advise you on best practices and guidelines for BrightSign displays.
Guidelines for images/video and hardware:
- Displays are 4K in resolution (2160x3840 - Landscape orientation)
- BrightSign Players support 4k resolution images and a FPS of 60p for videos.
- All images and videos should be at 4k resolution as standard.
- Image format must be one of the following: BMP, JPEG or PNG
- Video format must be one of the following: MP4, MOV, MKV, WEBM, TS, MPG, MPEG, PS, M2P, MPV, AVI, HEVC, H264, AV1, VP9, or MJPG
- Images and Videos can not produced (or edited) by the IT service desk so please procure these via the Brand team or a 3rd party.
- When producing images, please take note of the orientation of the displays at the location.
Displays can be set up in landscape or portrait and the images/videos will have to match the orientation.
Best practise:
- Please seek authorisation from the Visitor Welcome Team manager for adjusting content of the BrightSign displays.
- If the BrightSign display is not managed by the VWT manager, please refer to the site manager for approval.
- Once approval has been received, please raise a ticket with the IT service desk and include the images or videos.
