Basic troubleshooting for BrightSign displays.

Introduction:
This knowledgebase article will advise you on basic troubleshooting steps if your BrightSign displays are not working.
Since there are two main components of the BrightSign displays it will be listed separately.
Resolution (Brightsign player):
- Check that the BrightSign player has power.
- Check that the power adapter is plugged in and switched on (if applicable) at the wall socket
- Check that the power connector is plugged securely to the BrightSign Player
- If all looks correct, unplug the power cable and wait 30 seconds then plug it back in.
- Check that the HDMI cable is plugged into the BrightSign Player.
- Check that the network cable is plugged into the BrightSign Player
Resolution (Display):
- Check that the display has power.
- Check that the power adapter is plugged in and switched on (if applicable) at the wall socket
- Check that the power connector is plugged securely to the display.
- Check if the HDMI cable is plugged into the display.
- Switch on the display via the remote or the buttons on the display.
- Check that the display is on the correct HDMI source via the remote control or buttons on the display (Displays usually have multiple HDMI sockets)
