Teams call Basics - How do I use Teams calls?

Pre-requisite: A landline number will need to be assigned to you to receive incoming and make outgoing calls to phone numbers.
If you would like to request a phone number, please submit a ticket to the Service Desk with a use case.
Basic Functions:
Make a call
- Select Calls
on the left side of Teams.
- Type a name or an external number to call someone.
- When you're ready, select Call.
Transfer a call
- When you're in a call, on the call controls, Click on Transfer and then select Transfer.
(If Transfer is nor shown, click on More actions> Transfer)
- Type in the name of the person (or number) you'd like to transfer the call to, and choose them.
- Select Transfer to finish it.
Play a voicemail
- Select Voicemail and click on the name or number of the voicemail you want to listen to:
- Choose a voicemail to listen to and select Play.
- Read a voicemail transcript in the Details pane (if one's available.)
