No. As soon as you sign in to Gmail, contacts from the RBGE global address list (GAL) will synchronise to your device as well. Using this method ensures you always use the most up to date information. To find somebody's contact details, just open the Contacts app and search for their name as shown below:

Bear in mind that contacts added manually, either directly to the phone or into your Outlook contacts, will always take priority. You may wish to remove any staff contacts from your personal contacts to ensure the GAL is displayed first.

Note that personal numbers will not be synchronised automatically, so if you wish to store the personal contact details of somebody, you will have to manually add this.
