Frequently Asked Question

If you receive any message that seems malicious, either a phishing attempt, spam or an outright scam, then please use the Report Message function in Outlook. Reporting malicious messages helps to ensure that they're blocked in the future, and also helps to protect other people who may not be aware the message is malicious.

In the Outlook desktop or web client, select the message and click the Report button at the top left of the screen. Here you can select the category it's being reported as.

You can also report false positives by selecting the 'Not Junk' option that will appear if the message is in your Junk Email folder.

Note that even if you suspect a message is a simulation, it should still be reported.
