How do I set up e-mail on my phone?

If using an RBGE owned device then email should be automatically configured - just open the Gmail app and enter your password when prompted.

Note that you may have to ensure the apps are at the latest version first - simply open the Play Store, then select the circle icon at the top right and select 'My work apps' to check.  See https://servicedesk.rbge.org.uk/kb/faq.php?id=20 for full details.


For a personal device, either use Gmail if on an Android or download Microsoft Outlook first from either the Play Store or App Store (third party mail apps are not supported). Outlook can be downloaded from:

When asked to sign in, enter your full email address as the username, without any dots after your first initial. For example, fbloggs@rbge.org.uk

Enter your standard RBGE password and email will then sync to your device.

Note that you may wish to change or remove the default signature.
