Frequently Asked Question
NEAT kit can be used to join Zoom meetings. This page covers how to set this up.
There's 2 scenarios:
* an external party sends you a Zoom meeting invite, and they host the meeting.
* you are hosting the meeting.
you are hosting the meeting - setup
- create the meeting invite through Zoom (details not covered here). - And select to use outlook to schedule the meeting.
- add the meeting room you wish to use to the meeting invite.
- In outlook, in the meeting, click Room finder, select the room, and click add.
- Its really important to check there's no Teams details in the meeting, otherwise the teams details will override zoom, and it won't work. To check this:
- look at the Meeting options section in outlook:
If there's a "Don't host online" button, click it.
It should then look like this:
Click send.
now jump to "joining the meeting" below.

You'll start with a meeting invite you have been sent.
- Forward the meeting invite, to the room you wish to use. to do this:
- Select forward:
Type the name of the room in the "To" box:
Joining the meeting
Once you've set things up (above) you can join the meeting.
You should see the meeting listed on the room controller:
Check there's a "Zoom" logo at the top right.
To join the meeting - click Join. - you can use the on screen (touchscreen) controls, or the touch pad to control the meeting.
